Welcome Back to IA!

Happy summer everyone,

I know the summer is a great time to relax, unwind, and recover from all the hard work we did last
year, but I’m getting more excited about the year coming up.

This year, we will continue developing a world-class education for our students that prepares them
for success in a rapidly changing world. We’ll continue to refine our programming to offer authentic
learning opportunities that will challenge our students, inspire them, and foster both creative and
critical thinking skills. We will also continue to focus on resiliency for all our students as they
engage in a rigorous course of study. Providing support for our students at all levels is imperative.

I’m very proud of the work the administration and departments chairs have done to bring on new
and highly qualified teachers who passionately share our mission. Many new teachers have joined
our veteran teachers this summer to continue to develop their courses. I’ve been able to sneak into
a few of these meetings, and I’m very excited about the work the teachers have done.

Last year, we graduated our first senior class, and it was nice to see that many prestigious andWel
rigorous colleges and universities recognized our students’ hard work and talent. Our focus will
always be to move each of our students forward to their own ability, but it is nice to see outside
measures that validate our hard work. Our graduates’ stories of growth and accomplishment serve
as a reminder of what is possible when we dare mighty things. We encourage our students to
embrace challenges, view failures as opportunities for learning, and strive for excellence in all they
do. This year, our seniors will be the first “All IA” cohort, and I can’t wait to see what incredible
things they accomplish.

I’d also like to ensure parents we will continue to work on our communication channels to ensure
you get the most timely information about the happenings at IA. The team has made incredible
strides ensuring all information is available to families, but there is a lot of activity here, so there is
always room to improve our communication. We are dedicated to providing the guidance and
resources needed for every student to reach their full potential. We believe in the power of
community and collaboration, and we invite parents, guardians, and community members to join
us in this journey. Your involvement and support are invaluable as we work together to create a
nurturing and inspiring environment for our students.

I hope you are as excited about the upcoming year as I am, as we look to build this future together.
A future where our students are not only prepared to meet the challenges of world but are also
empowered to be leaders and innovators. Let’s embrace this new year with optimistic
determination and a shared commitment to keep daring mighty things.
