On 10/10/2024, the STEAM Engines club organized the Bullying Prevention Painting Activity in front of the Gaming Pod in the Hangar. In a partnership with the counseling department as part of Bullying Prevention Month this activity saw STEAM Engines volunteers paint the hands of students, who would then place their painted hand onto a large piece of paper, leaving behind their handprint. Students were then given stickers shaped like blue ribbons to show solidarity with bullying prevention efforts. The handprints will together form a collage of hands, which will then be displayed to raise awareness for Bullying Prevention Month.

Similar to this activity, STEAM Engines aims to promote wellbeing and social wellness through activities that coordinate with the month they are taking place in. For instance, since October is Filipino American Awareness Month, the STEAM Engines club has put up promotion and awareness materials around the Exchange, so make sure to be on the look out for that! Looking forward to the rest of the school year, the STEAM Engines are excited to focus their efforts to helping raise school spirit!
