pickleball club for block B. With over 50 active club members, over 8+ courts, this club highlights
this upcoming sport, pickleball! Co-founder Christian Casanova shares that the club has
improved drastically, “last year we had nets that were almost falling apart,” he remarks. “This
year we got brand new ones for each of our courts!”

Christian encourages new people to join even if you’ve never played before, emphasizing the
club’s welcoming atmosphere. “It’s a great way to make friends and pick up a new hobby,” he
says. “The learning curve is small, making it easy to pick up and have fun!”

The pickleball club hosts tournaments as well with Christian remarking how the one recently
hosted this year was a lot of fun for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned player or have never
picked up a paddle, everyone can have fun! IA Pickleball Club is one of the premier athletic
