Project Week Attendance
November 8, 2024 2024-11-13 14:23Project Week Attendance
Our first annual Project Week is going to be a non-traditional learning experience that focus on Food Scarcity and Insecurity in our community and in our world. This has caused us to establish a modified schedule for the week of Nov 18 – 22. The schedule is below. We are asking our students to be on campus as much as their schedule allows.
If students have dual enrollment that is asynchronous, we ask that they remain on campus. If students are in good standing for virtual for 1st and 8th period, we ask that they remain on campus. If WBL or Internship schedules can be modified with supervisors, we ask that our students do that to make every attempt to be on campus.
We do know that some GHSA sports and certain extracurriculars can not be flexible. If a student normally arrives late or leaves early and has the proper lanyard stickers and cards, we will still be allowing students to arrive late and leave early. These will not count against the late arrival or early checkout for magnet requirements.
All normal check in late and check out early procedures should be followed by parents by sending notes in with their student to check in or out properly through the main office (illness, doc appt, etc.).
Our staff has done a tremendous amount of planning to make this week exciting and meaningful.
