STEM Saturday was an outreach event held on November 16^th for Fulton County middle schoolers to gain a better sense of IA and our commitment to STEM. Middle schoolers participated in sessions throughout the day where they were able to engage in various hands-on STEM activities that correlated with all 3 of the IA pathways: Healthcare, Information Technology (IT), and Engineering.

For Healthcare, students were able to learn emergency medicine through splint-making and understand the complexities of medical wounds. For IT, students were able to program drones and instruct microbots to complete a complex maze. For engineering, students were able to simulate the behavior of batteries and construct model vehicles. Overall, students got an overview of the STEM mission of IA and left with a great grasp of STEM concepts and IA as a whole!
