Over the course of the past few weeks, the IA Robotics Team has been hard at work training new members and adding to their victories! Underclassmen train using wood robots and high-fidelity prototypes that simulate heavyweight competition robots to better understand the mechanics, build process, and drive behind the construction of a robot. From ideation to final iterations, these wood robots will serve as a valuable demonstration and practical tool to train the newest members of the robotics team. 

Recently, the IA Robotics Team also placed 4^th out of 38 teams at the GA Robotics Invitational Tournament and Showcase in Dalton. They were the Captain of Alliance 3, and placed behind teams ranked 8^th, 25^th, and 47^th (out of 4000) internationally!  

Their next competition will be on January 4^th, and they look forward to another great competition season.
