From November 8-10, 2024, members of the IA TSA team had the incredible opportunity to attend the annual Georgia Fall Leadership Conference at Jekyll Island, themed ‘Lights! Camera! Lead!’ This event brought together students and advisors for a spectacular experience focused on leadership development, communication, and team-building skills.

Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in leadership development workshops, and informative technical sessions that explored what it truly means to lead and succeed in our technical world. The conference featured several signature events, including the VEX State Qualifier Tournament, VEX IQ Tournament, Georgia TSA Electric Vehicle Rally, the annual Armada Cardboard Boat Race, and The Island Video Contest. Participants also had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge of the organization by taking the Georgia TSA Statesman Exam.

Additionally, the conference offered an Expo where participants could meet with representatives from colleges, universities, and industry leaders, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.

As the curtains close on this remarkable event, the unique talents and perspectives brought to the spotlight by each attendee are celebrated. The Georgia TSA Fall Leadership Conference continues to inspire and equip the leaders of tomorrow, fostering a community of innovation, creativity, and ethical leadership!
