Our Student Leadership Club Council hosted a Matchomatics booth the week of Valentine’s Day. This festive booth gave our students a chance to find out which students they were the most and least compatible with. Students took surveys in which they answered a series of questions about themselves and their interests. The Matchomatics survey took these results and prepared individualized results for the students with a list of their top 50 most compatible students and 10 least compatible students sorted by grade and gender. These results were purchased throughout Valentine’s week from February 10th to February 14th for $3. Furthermore, this quiz not only gave them a list of their best matches but also fun facts about oneself such as their defining characteristics and motto which suits them best as well as 2 mystery friends!. 

Whether the results of the quiz were shocking or comforting, this booth surely brought excitement and festive spirit to Valentines Week. Students giggled at unlikely pairings and celebrated pairings with their closest friends and buddies. Some of our best matches were Harshita Nekkanti and Shivani Lal, and Sahasra Repalle and Vindhya Induri!  

While this lively booth provided a sense of fun, this booth also served as a fundraiser for our Club Council. The Club Council is an organization dedicated to student life and clubs. The money raised through this fundraiser will go back towards the students and clubs, helping fund events like Skelebration and Club Fair. SLC looks forward to hosting similar events for student wellbeing throughout the year!
