EOPA Testing Reminders
April 4, 2025 2025-11-23 0:16EOPA Testing Reminders
Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in one of the third-year pathway courses will be taking an End of Pathway Assessment (EOPA) after spring break. See the testing calendar below
Here’s what you need to know about the EOPA:
- Grades: EOPA scores do not transfer or count as grades, so there is no impact on your child’s transcript.
- Retake: There is no retake for EOPAs.
- Mandatory Participation: All students in a third-year course are required to take the exam for their pathway as part of Innovation Academy’s Magnet requirements. Failure to take the EOPA puts a student on Magnet Probation.
- Accommodations: Each EOPA has its own process to grant accommodation. Game Design, CyberSecurity, Patient Care, Allied Health, and PGAS use forms teachers will share with students with IEPs and 504. Accommodations for all other assessments are pre-loaded in the digital exams with no further action on your part.
- Study Materials: Teachers have been reviewing the necessary materials and resources through class instruction. If your child needs additional study materials or resources, please encourage them to speak with their teacher.
- Graduation: All students who complete their third-year course receive a medallion at graduation. Students who pass the end of pathway exam will earn a CTAE graduation cord.
