One of the best parts of the school day is taking a break. Sometimes that break includes taking a quick vending machine detour. Students often look for something tasty and affordable to enjoy between classes. With the variety of sweet and savory treats the vending machines have to offer, Anaiya Patel (10th) shared with us, “Anytime I see those Grandma cookies I always have to get those. I love how crunchy and sweet they are.” Sweet snacks seem to be easy favorites to enjoy during breaks. Sachin Sivadas (11th) says, “If I had to go with a favorite snack, I would say pop tarts are good.” Some students, however, prefer the saltier side of things. Architha Vipin (11th) says, “My favorite snack is the cheese ruffles.” ’s a well-loved chip choice many students reach for. No matter which sweet or savory treat students choose, grabbing a quick snack from the vending machine is always a smart way to make the most of a brain break.
