Innovation Academy is excited to welcome two female students from San Carlos School in Peru to study at IA as part of the Cultural Bridges: Peru-US Exchange Program.
Maria and Guadalupe are two of the top students in their school are eager to experience life as IA students.
We are helping connect them with potential host families who can provide a comfortable place for them to stay from October 25th – November 14th. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for them at IA on school days, and they will have their own health insurance and spending money. Students will be eligible to ride a Fulton County school bus from their host family’s home zoned school. Your family does not need to speak Spanish to be a host family.
Host families are responsible for:
- Transportation from/to Airport
- A place to stay
- Providing dinner daily
- All meals on weekends and non-school days
If you are interested in participating in this cultural exchange by welcoming one or both of these students into your home, please reach out to Carissa Donges, dongesc@fultonschools.org for more information.
Here are some quick introduction videos of each student for reference!
