PSAT/SAT Day – Schedule and Early Check Out Process

On Wednesday, October 8^th all 9^th through 11^th graders will be taking the PSAT.  12^th graders who signed up will be taking the SAT.  Any 12^th grader not taking the SAT will be off campus asynchronous. 

After the test finishes (estimated time is 12:30pm), we will have lunch followed by tutoring and recovery time.  Students remaining on campus will be required to sign up for different teacher time slots in our event website. Asynchronous work time will not be an option in the event website.

We know that taking this test can cause fatigue and some students will not need to stay for tutoring and recovery. We have a streamlined process in place for any student who would like to take an early dismissal.  This will not count towards magnet requirements.

This form may be turned in between Mon, Sept 29 to Tues, Oct 7 to the main office. 

It can also be turned in from 8:00am to 8:55am on Wed, Oct 8 in front of the gaming pod. 

Students will be issued a PINK pass on the morning of the test in front of the gaming pod to use when departing for the day.  Carpool pick up is ONLY in the BACK loop with a PINK pass.  Only students with the PINK pass will be permitted to leave without checking out.

If a student does not have an early release form on file with PINK pass, the parent will need to come to the FRONT of the school, park, come in to the main office, and check out the student.  NO EMAILS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
