Many students at Innovation Academy are excited about the best season of the year approaching… Autumn! Student Baasel Quraishy says, “Winter’s too cold, Summer’s too hot, Spring is loaded with pollen and allergies. Fall’s the best season because it’s the perfect balance of all these things.” While many students exclusively love the temperature change, many are looking forward to the fall festivities and Halloween. Student Izi Pritchett has lined up four costumes in preparation for the week leading up to Halloween. That’s dedication! Halloween can be a great holiday to collect life-threatening amounts of sugary candy, dress up as your favorite character, and tell spooky ghost stories!

Speaking of spooky stories, Mrs. Beem is hosting the annual 53 word scary story competition! If you think you have what it takes, make sure to submit your story by 10/23. Prizes will be awarded to the best story. Happy Halloween!
