An evening filled with so much culture fun and food. This year’s World Of IA event brings 30+ countries, so much culture, music and food. Participants come together to represent and share their cultures, as well as learning about other countries and cultures. There is so much that goes into each culture, from history and origin, to language and music. Booths were set up all around our school to represent countries and cultures. Each table filled with knowledge, colorful decorations, and food. Many people really enjoyed the samples of cuisines all over the world. (Mona Singh 11th grade) said,” My favorite part was all the food and the different varieties, but India was my favorite stand.” She also stated, “I liked seeing the diversity of all the countries brought together in one place.”

This event allowed everyone to come together to not only learn and share but to also celebrate! It gave everyone an opportunity to share something from their culture. But behind all the booths, stands, food, and decoration, one of the best parts were the performances. (Lesli Granados 11th grade) said, “We had performers from different parts of Mexico so we were showcasing how each person had their own style of dance since different places have different styles.” each person has their own way representing their culture.
