Sam states, “Everything we learn connects to real hospital or clinic settings. for example, learning vital signs or infection prevention is something nurses, doctors, and anesthesiologists all have to know and use every day.” Students in the Introduction to Healthcare course gain a strong foundation for future college classes such as anatomy and medical terminology. The course also helps them build essential professional skills they’ll need in real-world healthcare settings.
