The holidays are here, and with them, Downtown Alpharetta has gotten a wonderful winter wonderland transformation. From delicious holiday-themed food items to satisfy a sweet tooth or a well-decorated store, Downtown Alpharetta has something festive for everyone!

Speaking of a sweet tooth, 2BWHOLE Gluten Free Bakery has a full Holiday Menu. They have gingerbread men, peppermint chocolate cookies, and muffins. They also have orange cranberry and apple cinnamon muffins. Yum! A local coffee shop, Valor Coffee, has taken it upon itself to release a full holiday menu as well. Some of the fun new menu items consist of the “RGF (Resting Grinch Face), Snog in the Fog, Sleigh-hini, Holiday Hobby-Whatty,” and my personal favorite… “TERRY’S REVENGE.” Another sweet holiday treat that Downtown Alpharetta has to offer is at Kilwins (fudge and chocolate store). Kilwins has added a peppermint collection to its fudge store.

While many shops have food-related changes to their menus, others have just put up decorations. With that being said, I went to every single store in Downtown Alpharetta, and there is by far one clear winner on who has put up the best holiday decorations. That place is Mercantile Social Tasting Room and Bar. Mercantile has completely overhauled its bar with lights around every corner and holiday decorations out of wazoo. Speaking of bars for any IA parents, there is the third annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl this Saturday from 2pm-9pm in Downtown Alpharetta.

Many stores have taken it upon themselves to add a tree to their store. One store, All Inspired Boutique, added a large white tree to the center of its store. Not only that, but in the heart of the green of Downtown Alpharetta, they have added one singular 50-foot tree with lights and all. Stashed away in many corners of Downtown Alpharetta are many wooden hollow trees to put non-perishable items in for North Fulton Community Charities. ‘Tis the season of giving, so consider making a difference and donating today. All-in-all, Downtown Alpharetta is filled to the brim with Holiday Cheer. Go out there and see it!
