IA Juniors win at State InVenture Prize

Innovation Academy juniors Sreyas Sabbani (left), Aarav Nagar (middle), and Nitesh Kamanuru Purushotham (right) participated in the 2026 Georgia Invention Convention State Finals, aka the K-12 InVenture prize held March 11 at Georgia Tech. Our students won in the following categories:

ScFIND-2nd place: Sreyas Sabbani

Nitesh Kamanuru Purushotham presented SafePulse

Aarav Nagar presented  Adaptive Modular 3D-Printed Prothetic Leg

The statewide competition brought together hundreds of K–12 student inventors who presented original solutions to real‑world problems and competed for a chance to advance to the RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals.

Sreyas’s strong performance places him among Georgia’s top young innovators, and he will have the opportunity to represent Innovation Academy on the national stage this June. The event featured a wide range of creative student inventions—from renewable fuel concepts to health‑tech apps and accessibility devices—highlighting the growing sophistication and impact of youth innovation across the state.
