Alpha Phi Alpha, Incorporated- Greater Atlanta Area 

Criteria: Candidates must be male, graduating seniors from the Greater Atlanta Area. 

Applicants must demonstrate outstanding scholarship ability, character, community engagement, and financial need.  Academic achievement and financial need will be the primary considerations for awards.  Applicants must show potential to pursue a college education. 

The applicant must submit a counselor’s recommendation, application, and transcript.  The applicant must demonstrate overall school involvement and community engagement. 

Closing Date: Applications and supportive materials must be submitted in a timely fashion. All submissions are due on April 24, 2026.  Counselor and Alpha Brother endorsements are also due April 24. We recommend that you start the application early, so that your counselor and Brother endorser (if applicable) can begin their process.  The application can be saved and edited until submitted.  

 Award Disbursement: Financial awards will be made directly to the student upon presentation of college enrollment documentation.

Golden Futures Scholarship 

Students 13+ can participate in a personal finance education game, and juniors and seniors are eligible for $10,000 and $20,000 scholarships. 

Parents or guardians will need to register first—once completed, they’ll receive an access code and instructions to help their child get started.
