On Saturday April 18th, select members of the Innovation Academy math team traveled to Macon, GA to compete in the state mathematics competition. At the competition, awards were presented to top teams and individuals, and members of the Georgia all-star math team were chosen to compete in the ARML international math competition.

Rohan Bangal, Varun Gadi, Marty Ho, Tafadzwa Motsi, Sreyas Sabbani, and Audrey Sun attended to represent IA.

Our Varsity team (Rohan, Varun, Marty and Audrey) came in 3rd place in the state out of 29 teams.

Two of our members placed in the top 10 individuals at state, with Marty Ho in 10th and Varun Gadi 1st place in GA. In addition, Rohan Bangal, Marty Ho, and Varun Gadi were selected to be on the ARML team and plan to compete in North Carolina in May.
