State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking students in grades 10–12 to serve on the 2026–2027 State Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. Selected students will meet with Superintendent Woods four times during the school year to discuss the impact of state education policies, share their perspectives on issues affecting Georgia students, and serve as ambassadors for their schools and communities.

Students in grades 10-12 are encouraged to review the application information and submit an online application by Friday, September 4^th at 5:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted. The 2026-2027 Student Advisory Council application is available online.  Selected students will be notified by email. All students may visit the Student Advisory Council webpage on October 2^nd  at 10:00 a.m. to determine if they have been selected.
