Four years might seem like a long time, but then you blink and you’re standing on a stage with your graduation gown on! Senior year comes quicker than you would expect. It might not feel like it but by the time you finish high school you would have learned so much, and not just academically. Senior year allows students to reflect on the past 4 years and celebrate their achievements. Many seniors reflected not only on their achievements, but also on the friendships, memories, lessons and most importantly the mistakes they have made along the way.
Ansh Mithani (12) shared that, taking the time to hang out with your friends and relax is important, some of his favorite memories came from playing Brawl Stars with friends during lunch. “What started as a small game in 10th grade became a tradition that brought a huge group together.” His advice to students is, enjoy spending time with your friend.
Varshini Ganesh (12) says, “Enjoy the moment you’re in, because you never know when time passes.” Looking back, she wishes he spent less time stressing and more time appreciating the little moments. “At the end, the motive of life is to have fun and not regret anything.” She emphasized that students should spend high school really living their life.
Lily Vang (12). “They weren’t kidding when they said four years of high school will go by really fast,”. Her advice was to make good choices and spend time wisely so you can look back without regrets.
Noelle Yoseph (12)“senioritis is real,” She leaves an important reminder to students to not fall too far behind and lose motivation during senior year as well as making sure procrastination doesn’t get the best of you.
Kailash Rajendran (12) focused on effort and self-growth. “That feeling of having regret ‘really sucks,” he focused on reminding students to “be the best every single day.”
Together, the seniors shared one common lesson: work hard, enjoy life, and appreciate the people and memories around you before the moment passes!
