Peach state Tax Credit

Every dollar you contribute results in a dollar for dollar tax credit!

Fulton County Schools is facing financial challenges related to enrollment declines, tax code changes, and rising benefit costs. While the district remains committed to supporting Innovation Academy, we are projected to face a $75,000 budget shortfall next year, and possibly more in the years ahead.

To ensure our students continue receiving the rich, hands on STEM and design experiences that define IA, we are launching our first annual participation in the Georgia Peach State Tax Credit Program. This program provides one of the most impactful ways for families and businesses to support our school—and it comes at no net cost to participants. Specific information is available on their website.

There is a $15 million dollar state limit on this program. When the money is spent, no more tax dollars will be redirected. This limit has not been hit before, but this is the first year the state is opening the program for specific schools, so we are hoping for your support soon because we don't know what the interest will be statewide.

Why this Matters

Through the Peach State Tax Credit program, you can redirect a portion of your Georgia state tax liability directly to Innovation Academy. Every dollar you contribute results in a dollar for dollar tax credit when you file your taxes next year.

This year, our schoolwide goal is to raise $250,000, and we are excited to share that $50,000 has already been committed from parents and partners. These funds allow us to elevate student learning through:

-Advanced challenges in all three pathways
-Design and fabrication lab enhancements
-Real world problem solving experiences
-Pathway innovation
-Student led research and entrepreneurial projects

These opportunities go beyond what traditional funding can provide and directly strengthen IA’s mission.
