Element Six
Element Six is one of Innovation Academy’s most powerful interdisciplinary courses—an immersive experience that blends Patient Care Fundamentals with 11th–12th Grade Multicultural Literature. This course invites students to explore the human side of healthcare through stories, art, and hands-on clinical practice, preparing them to enter the medical field with technical skill and deep empathy.
Students engage in a rich journey that bridges science and the humanities, helping them understand not only how to care for patients, but why compassionate, informed care matters.
Why Your Support Is Crucial
Element Six depends on a wide range of medical supplies, simulation materials, and artistic tools that allow students to bring learning to life. Your contribution ensures that students have:
• Hands-on clinical equipment and consumables
• Access to simulation technology and patient care training tools
• Materials for writing, art, and digital storytelling projects
• Opportunities to engage with healthcare professionals and participate in authentic fieldwork
By donating, you help students experience the full depth of this innovative course—where science, empathy, and creativity come together to shape the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Your generosity fuels curiosity, compassion, and future-ready clinical skills.

GT Block
The GT Block is Innovation Academy’s signature, cross curricular learning experience—built on a project based framework designed in partnership with Georgia Tech’s CEISMC program. This unique course weaves together three critical CTAE pathways—Information Technology, Engineering, and Healthcare—to give students an unparalleled, real world learning environment.
Across a two period block each day, students rotate through all three introductory courses, guided by expert teachers from each department. This structure allows them to think, design, and problem solve across disciplines, just as professionals do in today’s most innovative careers.
What makes the GT Block extraordinary is its commitment to hands on, design thinking projects that require students to prototype, build, test, and refine their ideas. To make these experiences possible, however, our students need consistent access to quality supplies, materials, and technology.
Why Your Support Matters
Your contribution directly funds:
• Innovative project materials and prototyping supplies
• Cross-curricular technology and equipment
• Consumables needed to support daily hands-on learning
• Expanded opportunities for students to explore healthcare, engineering, and IT simultaneously
• Professional development for teachers
By investing in the GT Block, you’re empowering students to dream boldly, think creatively, and prepare for the future with confidence.

Pinnacle Project
Every IA junior completes a Pinnacle Project, a transformative capstone that challenges students to explore a topic broadly and deeply before carrying out a full year of independent research. With its real world impact, group collaboration, and design thinking process, students rely on quality materials, expert guidance, and special research cohorts. Your support ensures they have the tools they need to turn questions into discoveries.
2025 Pinnacle Projects: Showcase 2025 – FCS IA Beacon

Flex Fridays
Flex Fridays are one of Innovation Academy’s most dynamic and future focused learning experiences. Designed to immerse students in their chosen career pathways—Engineering, Information Technology, and Health Science—these alternating school days give students the time and space to explore, create, and grow through authentic, hands on learning.
What Are Flex Fridays?
Each IA student declares a pathway they can explore in-depth three Fridays per semester. Flex Fridays provide:
• Targeted pathway exploration
• Hands-on learning environments
• Opportunities to engage with instructors, mentors, and business partners in real-world challenges
• Space for deeper learning, collaboration, and innovation
These days transform traditional school into an experiential environment—and that takes materials, tools, and industry involvement to do well.
