Hello IA Families, 

We are currently reviewing the current progress data of all of our students in regards to the IA Magnet Requirements.  We will be sending out probation letters and probation updates on Monday, April 13.

In regards to our Magnet Requirements, there are a few items you can check now so you are aware of progress and status:

• Failing Classes
  • Check Infinite Campus for the 9 Week Posted grades
  • Is your child failing any core subjects or pathway classes?
  • Has the overall average improved since the 9 Week Posted grades?
    • If not, contact teachers directly for updates or check Canvas to see more details
• Flex Friday Credits
  • Have your student log into the IA Event website and show you their dashboard of credits
  • Six credits are required per semester (plus any needing to be made up from the previous semester)
  • Make up opportunities are posted in the IA Student Canvas 25-26
  • Upcoming Flex Fridays include IT 4/3, Eng 4/17, and HC 4/24 to earn two more credits in these pathways

• Attendance and Early Dismissals and Late Arrivals
  • Check Infinite Campus for the amount of absences, early dismissals and late arrivals
  • Absences (excused or unexcused) should be less than 18 for the year
    • This does not include school activities
  • Early dismissals and late arrivals (excused or unexcused) should be no more than 10 each
    • Ensure all documentation is on file in the main office in case a review needs to be conducted
• End of Pathway Exams
  • If your student is in a third year pathway class, your child will take an end of pathway exam in April – ask your student for the date and time

The letters on 4/13/26 will formalize all information and also include point of contacts. We are not able to provide formal updates until 4/13/26. Please review the data above and prepare any questions you have for when the formal letters are sent.
