Principal’s Message

As we head into Spring Break. let’s take a moment to celebrate the incredible work our students have done. From GHP finalists, winning competitions, completing amazing projects with our business community, or just the students’ high performance in the classroom, labs, or school in general. I am continually amazed by the hard work our students put in day in and day out.
Just as important as sustained effort, our students need to step back, take a break, and recover. As athletes and professionals know, taking time to recover and refocus is important. If our students take some time over the break to relax, recoup, and recharge, when they come back they will be ready to go strong for the rest of the year. Please help me to encourage them to take time away from the daily grind of school. It will help them think sharper, be more balanced, and ultimately helps them learn more deeply and perform better.
I hope you can also use this as an excuse to slow down yourself. Enjoy some time with your families at a slower pace. Whether that means more meals together, time outdoors, or doing some creative or adventurous, these moments matter, and your kids will remember the experiences. Play and connection matter to long-term growth, so this is all in the name of a better education!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to welcoming refreshed and invigorated students when we return after the break.
Enjoy!
Scott Kent
Principal
