Science National Honors Society is Accepting Applications!

Are you a rising Junior who loves science? Consider applying to the Science National Honor Society!

Please review the information below carefully before applying. This is a highly dedicated, academically driven organization committed to fostering a deep appreciation for science and sharing scientific knowledge with our peers and community.

Our primary mission is to support fellow IA students by providing tutoring in advanced science courses. In addition, we actively participate in outreach initiatives at both middle and elementary schools to inspire younger students to explore STEM fields. During the 2026–2027 school year, our members had the opportunity to visit Hopewell Middle School, where we shared our passion for science and encouraged students to pursue scientific curiosity and innovation.

Beyond tutoring and outreach, club members engage in discussions about current scientific research, emerging discoveries, and technological advancements. We also host guest speakers who share their academic and professional experiences in science-related fields.

This club is intended for students who demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for science, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to commit time and effort to furthering our mission. Please consider applying only if you are prepared to meet the club’s academic and participation expectations and are eager to grow and spread your love for science. We wish you the best of luck in the application process.
