After so many Easter eggs and hints, its here, the Life of A Showgirl album. the curtains are open, and the spotlight is centered! The swifties are officially in the life of a showgirl era. This era is fun, its bright and its bold! The transition from the The Tortured Poets department to the life of a showgirl era is drastic. Taylor really has taken the spotlight after shutting the door on the chaos of TTPD. It’s a big difference from TTPD and we can tell that she is truly filled with love and it shows in her music. In an interview Taylor had mentioned that this may be the first time that she has felt the same as when she wrote the album to when she released it! A major reason for that could be her exciting engagement with Travis Kelce as she leaves all the chaos and heartbreak behind truly entering a new chapter in life both with her music and real life. This album just like any other, has sparked some mixed reviews. Some people are absolutely in love with k=new album and its fun pop songs like Opalite, the fate of Ophelia. Many fans also think that each of the songs on the album sound a bit like another album for example cancelled! sounds like it could also be on the reputation album, with its strong message and beats.

Laasya Vaadlamani 11th grade. “I absolutely loved this album, it is easily one of my favorites as each song grows on me, I think Taylor really showcases how she feels with her music, and this album is very fun and lovey, but if I were to give one piece of constructive criticism it would be that, eldest daughter could have been so much more but I believe Taylor does everything for a reason. on the contrast,

Advika Chandras 11th grade, I think this album really does not deserve the hype that it got, i felt like she was trying to voice out things but she didn’t convey it in her lyrics very well.” Even with contrasting opinions its safe to say that this a exciting new era!
