We are excited to welcome students and their families to Information Day on Thursday, July 30 from 9am to 11:30am.
9am-10:30am: 9th grade students and families
- You may attend any of the three optional information sessions offered in the Auditorium at 9:10-9:30; 9:35-9:55; or 10:00-10:20. The content will be identical in each session, and will include Flex Fridays, GT Block, Communication channels, and Magnet requirements.
- Students and parents will use their schedule posted in Infinite Campus (IC) to meet their teachers using the Teacher Locator-not the room number listed in IC: Teacher Locator for Information Day
- Students and families are invited to visit our booths in the Hangar to get more information about Student Life, Transportation, and PTSO to name a few. Make sure to stop by the Freshmen station near the Engineering wing to pick up your 9th grade folder and tshirt.
10am-11:30am: 10th-12th grade students and families
- Students and parents will use their schedule posted in Infinite Campus (IC) to meet their teachers using the Teacher Locator-not the room number listed in IC: Teacher Locator for Information Day You are also invited to visit our information tables in the Hangar.
- Please note all 10th grade students must provide proof of residency, and all 11th grade students must provide immunization records for the MCV4 booster. We encourage families to submit documentation digitally prior to the event, but a station will be set up on 7/30 if you are not able to submit them via Jotform (residency) or email (immunization).
- Laptop distribution: Sophomores will be able to pick up their laptop in room 372 (NorthStar) on Thursday, July 30 from 10am to 3pm. Juniors will report on Friday, July 31 from 9am to 3pm to get their device. Additional information will be shared later for Seniors and Freshmen. Once students receive their laptop, they should expect to stay on campus for 30 minutes with the device on for full set up and start up.
Prior to Information Day
- 10th Grade Residency Verification – Submit online to skip the line: Proof of Residency Verification
- 11th Grade Immunization – Drop off the form at the designated table or email it to feldschneids@fultonschools.org and skip the line.
- Fees you can pay ahead of time:
- Parking Fee and Parking Application for student drivers
- Optional Project Fee
- Graduation fee (cap, gown, tassel, diploma cover, 10 tickets) for Seniors only.
- Join the IA PTSO (spirit wear, optional Senior Celebration Dues-separate from graduation fees. This fee covers monthly snacks, swag, senior t-shirt, 6 dunk tickets at Phoenix Fest): Innovation Academy High School PTSO, Inc.
- Cafeteria: Set up or add funds to your MySchoolBucks account
- Track the Bus: Download Here Comes the Bus app, code: 87428
- Infinite Campus: Set up your Parent Portal
- Canvas: Set up a Parent Observer account.

26-27 Schedules
Infinite Campus will open with 26-27 schedules on Monday, July 27.
Our counselors may be in touch with you and/or your student in the coming weeks as they finalize schedules. Be on the lookout for emails or phone calls from our team!
We do not make schedule changes in July unless it is dual enrollment classes or a schedule conflict identified by the counselor.
To ensure efficiency of counselor time please wait for the counselor to reach out to you as they work their way through their caseloads.
If your counselor needs to meet with you in person on Information Day 7.30.26, you will receive a “See Counselor” email and it will also be listed on your schedule in Infinite Campus on July 27, 2026. All “See Counselor” students should report to Mission Control on Information Day.

Virtual Period Placement
Are you playing a GHSA sport at your home school or have an extracurricular activity that starts at 4:30pm or earlier?
We can move your virtual period to the end of the day to accommodate this.

Rising 9th Graders – GAVS Summer Classes
If you are a rising 9th grader and you took a GAVS class over the summer, please email Jessica Lundy at lundyjn@fultonschools.org with a final grade report as soon as possible. Your schedule may require a waiver.
