Media Services is excited to launch our district-wide Beanstack 15-Million-Minute Challenge, with a goal of 15 million minutes read by students and staff. Last year, we surpassed our goal by reading more than 11 million minutes.

What is Beanstack?  Beanstack is a digital reading platform that allows students and staff to log reading, track progress, earn badges, and participate in reading challenges designed to increase engagement and support literacy growth.

Media Specialists are already promoting the challenge in schools. Principals can help encourage participation and may wish to partner with PTAs or local businesses to provide incentives for top readers, classes, or grade levels.
