Prom is this Friday night, the 17th of April, and the theme is this year is the Oscars! Prom is one of those events where you just have to go, its a school defining event if you will. Some groups choose not to go all out with the plans and the outfits, but others, especially mine, are going for a more epic approach to the event. I asked Garrett Wright (senior) what his plans would be before prom, and he stated “I know we’re going to take pictures somewhere and we’re going to a steak dinner.” A dinner plan to match a good a steak would be Izi Pritchett’s (senior) dinner plan. “I’m having dinner at Coletta with a big group of my friends.” Izi stated. As far as dinner plans go, cant argue with any of them, especially the outfits that students will be wearing. Some are for sure gonna go a simpler route like Garrett, who said he was wearing his tuxedo. “The tuxy kind.” as he stated “It’s like it’s a black tuxedo.” But Izi had a vision and as far as I know she executed it. “I am wearing a ball gown, and it has something to do with flowers. It’s Beauty and the Beast inspired, but that’s all I’ll say.” As it seems, prom is gonna be one of the nights of all time with amazing dinner pans, outfits, and don’t forget the venue its self.
