Clubs return again for the 2024-25 school year.

One week out of the month is dedicated to the highly anticipated club meetings- a time for students to take a step away from the textbook and tune into themselves. Kathryn Paxton [Faculty] led the pack into the first block of the academic season. “We sell ourselves at IA as having the three pathways, engineering, IT, and healthcare, we don’t have band, music, and art. Clubs help us make a holistic kid,” exclaimed Mrs. Paxton. With the student body club leaders’ help and Mrs. Paxton’s direction, block week became more than just an extended class time. “Clubs provide wellness and leadership opportunity,” said Mrs. Paxton. This past Tuesday spurred the creative minds of so many, from the novice freshman to the seasoned senior.
